Based in Delaware, Mirella Gable serves as the beginning band director for five elementary schools in the Cape Henlopen School District and performs with regional ensembles including the Delaware, York, and Lancaster Symphonies. A former member of the Wichita Symphony, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, and Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Mirella also taught at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma. She holds degrees from Wichita State University (MM in Horn Performance) and the Eastman School of Music (BM in Applied Horn and Music Education), where she earned a Performer's Certificate. In her spare time, Mirella enjoys hiking and biking, gardening, and indulging in shenanigans with her husband, hornist James Rester, and their cats.
