Kathleen Briggs

Kathy Briggs is a retired music teacher. She spent her 35-year career teaching general, instrumental, and choral music in the Lake Placid School District, mostly at the elementary level. She also has been the director of the High Peaks Ringers, a 5 octave English handbell choir, since 2000. She has been involved with the Sinfonietta as a volunteer and a member of the Education Committee for many years. Currently, she is serving as Co-Vice President of the Board of Directors, having also served as the Secretary. Kathy lives in Wilmington, and has two sons, Colin and Justin.
