Danny Baker, DNP
Treasurer
Born and raised in Lake Placid, Danny Baker is a nurse practitioner and epidemiologist currently serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the CDC in the U.S. Public Health Service. After many years working in Washington, D.C., he and his husband, Eric, returned home to the Adirondacks to reconnect with the community he loves.
Danny first got to know the Sinfonietta and live orchestral music as a kid, helping his piano teacher and former LPS Executive Director Debbie Fitts in the LPCA booth by pressing “record” and “pause” on a cassette deck during concerts. He’s grateful to be back in the North Country and to give back to the organization that helped shape those memories, now serving as Treasurer and proud supporter of the Sinfonietta’s role as the “Orchestra of the Adirondacks.”
